Why insurance is a lifeboat for every family need?

This is an anecdote about Titanic !

I tell this anecdote to clients who don't comprehend the need of insurance.
The Titanic was advertised as unsinkable before its first voyage in 1912.

No one seemed concerned that the Titanic would set sail without enough lifeboats to accommodate everyone on board. After all, there would never be a need for lifeboats. Despite this, the Titanic collided with an iceberg in the murky early morning hours of its first voyage.

When the alarm went off and over 2,200 passengers and staff members ran to the decks in search of lifeboats — the most crucial thing they could do to save their lives — there weren't enough. 1,500 individuals perished as a result of this. Almost everyone I addressed in last 25 years of selling risk protection.

Daily I speak to at least two families. And speaks them about Importance & need the of Life boats in their life. I tell them I sell Lifeboats to families for their well being.

I tell them the Titanic story and explain them that every life insurance, disability and critical illness policy is a lifeboat. The discussion changed immediately.

I would ask them:

“How big do you want your lifeboat to be?

"Is it only for you, or do you want to include your family?”

Everyone needs a lifeboats and nobody has the choice but to buy life boats
